THE BRIEF
Echoing an accent colour in the finer design details such as a gold splashback, handles and taps, really helped create a sense of cohesion and luxury in this kitchen. A reflective gold splashback against the cooking zone helped to open the room up, making it look larger and more spacious.
Floor to ceiling units utilises space so that lots of storage solutions can be created for a large busy family.
DESIGNER'S TIPS
This project came from a property developer, who was completely renovating a semi-detached Victorian family home.
Our client was looking for an on-trend ‘wow-factor’, which would perfectly complement their Victorian-style property. The kitchen was to be ultra-modern, with state-of-the-art integrated appliances but to also have a warm homely feel and lots of practical storage solutions. A social element to suit a busy family lifestyle was also sought after, so it was decided to include an island with stools and three hanging pendants which also acted as a feature to the kitchen.
